This kitchen island was difficult to put together for my son-in-law, but they love it and really needed the great storage for their pots and pans. They use the top drawer for spices which works great. The large drawer hardware is top quality. However, one of the holes in the bottom where the casters go, split and the caster is now just holding that corner off the floor. It is impossible to roll it now. It has to lean against a wall for safety which means they can not use the leaf. Very disappointed .
This island has added charm and practical storage in my kitchen. My husband had no trouble putting it together and commented on how well it is made. I especially like the subtle distressed finish which gives it the shabby chic look. The feature of the drawer opening from both sides is nice and I love having storage on the shelves for the spices I use most.
We love this island - it was the perfect addition to our kitchen. We used S hooks on the racks to hang our pots and pans, which saved a ton of space for us. We also got a pair of bar stools and use this regularly to eat at. Highly recommended!
My daughter moved into my husband's family home, and being built in 1956, the kitchen is very small. She needed more counter space for her appliances, so we looked at many tables. After looking everywhere, we settled for this stainless steel table. We loved the ease of assembly, the extra shelf on the bottom, and that it looks great. Being that she is on a tight budget, this table was excellent. Now, her kitchen counters have more space, and the toaster oven, wine rack, and other items, that needed a place, is not crammed into the small space.
