Great rack. Only downside is the depth from the wall could be a little greater to store stock pots, etc. above. Was able to get one up there. The rest of the shelf storage is used for pan lids. The wall brackets are actually adjustable so you can slide them wherever needed on the unit to get them lined up with wall studs - very nice feature. Sturdy, high quality. Have 3 cast iron pans and several non-stick pots/pans hanging from it.
I live in an apartment and this is what I use as an extension to my kitchen for storage but it also doubles as a showpiece for pictures/decor. Also holds my canister vacuum (also purchased on Overstock), dust pan...storage boxes but iron detailing makes it nice enough against my kitchen table. Will definitely repurpose indoors or out when I own my own home.
Need a shelf to display my cast iron pots in a corner of my kitchen. It serves the purpose. The bolts screws included were not matching to the holes. But managed to get it set up somehow.
I have an apartment kitchen with limited countertop space and cupboards. This island is a great addition. I have it against a wall. The top holds a coffee maker, a stand mixer, knives in a block, a soda stream machine, and a basket of table napkins. The top shelf holds cutting boards, a tray, and a basket. I purchased brushed steel S-hooks (elsewhere) and used them to hang my stainless steel cookware and non-stick skillets in the large open space above the bottom shelf, with enough room to store an enameled cast iron dutch oven on the bottom shelf as well. This island was easy to assemble, looks great, and has freed up a lot of countertop and cupboard space in my kitchen.
