Smarter styling and more features than our old model. We use every morning and appreciate the automatic timer. Ready to brew when we awake. Now I can brew a Carafe in addition to single cups...easy to adjust size, and strength since I enjoy a jumbo mug. Easy to fill, and to clean. Thanks Keurig for the free pods, will come in handy since we drink so much coffee!!
If you are looking for a good, easy to operate, moderately priced grinder, this is a good one. Have had it a few months, and have had no problems with it. The grind is very easy to adjust. Its very simple to set the amount of coffee you want to grind, but does require some experimentation on your part. It tends to grind a little more than set for. If I want 6 cups, I usually set the amount on 4 cups, which will usually yield about 6 scoops. Experiment until you find the amount/strength that works for you. Set your grind, fill the hopper on top, and push the grind bar. When its done, it automatically shuts off. I like my coffee perked in an electric percolator, and have had problems in the past with grounds in my coffee. This grinder is not 100% even in it's grind, but I no longer have grounds in my coffee. All in all, I think 4 stars is a good rating for this product. With it's stainless trim, it looks good with my other stainless appliances. It's easy to use and I have had no real issues that would keep me from buying it again. For the price, it's a good, easy to use, nice looking product.
It is small in size but mighty. I think it is quality beyond Keurig. I've had two of those and they died before one year. I didn't have receipts so I lost on replacement. Decided that wasn't a good kitchen investment. I also wanted to brew tea and have ground coffee once in a while, this does those and single K-cups! I'm happy. My partner has problems with her hands. I worried she couldn't push in the coffee drawer. But no problem. Once you use it a few times it gets simpler. Go buy their directions for first few times then you are golden. For us, it is a keeper. Oh and coffee is hotter than Keurigs. You don't have the large water reservoir. You fill water for each individual taste. Toss in a Jet Fuel coffee k-cup and my morning is made! Plus my coffee is stronger when I can adjust the water level for taste. I haven't had it long but it looks to last? UPDATE after 7 months: The K-cup holder leaks, it is somewhat messy. I clean up after it. The seal must be realigned and if your hands aren't capable this will be a chore. It unscrews and needs to be washed and reinserted. I bought a taller coffee cup to catch the spash. I still like it. But expensive for what you get. At least it isn't cheap plastic and I think it will last a fair amount of usable time.
