The color of these napkins are beautiful. They are a little thinner than I expected but I would definitely order them again. They were the perfect addition to my dinning room table.
I often do work at my dining room table - for hours on end. I've had these nice hardwood dining chairs for years, and I always thought they were reasonably comfortable - until about 6 months ago when I really started feeling the pressure on my "sit bones." The skin on those two spots started to be really irritated, and no over-the-counter skin remedies helped. I found out this is a common problem for older skin. (I include all this unflattering info in case anyone else is looking for cushions for the same reason.) So I started researching seat cushions. In fact, I spent hours and hours at the table in my now-uncomfortable hardwood chair researching seat cushions. A lot of the ones that got the best reviews for comfort were very thick - like 3 or 4 inches thick. But I'm on the short side, so I was worried that a thick cushion would keep my feet from completely touching the floor. And the highly-rated cushions were really expensive. So I checked Overstock.com and these came up. They were much more reasonably priced than the ones I had been looking at, they didn't seem too thick, and the average review was favorable, so I ordered a 2-pack. This cushion gives me the "butt protection" I need without too much thickness, so my feet stay on the floor. (If you need more cushioning you could probably stack both cushions from the 2-pack - the non-slip backing will keep them aligned in your chair.) Best part: after using this cushion for a little over two weeks, the skin underneath my sit bones has completely healed. I haven't tried to take my cushion anywhere yet, but it would be easy to carry along in a tote bag. One note for back pain sufferers. When I was researching seat cushions, it seemed like a lot of reviewers were looking for something to provide better spine alignment or relieve back pain. I don't think these cushions are meant to provide that type of support. Luckily I don't suffer from back issues, but I will say that my back is more comfortable since I have stopped contorting myself in the chair to relieve pressure on my sit bones. (I was not aware of how much I had been doing this until I didn't need to do it anymore.)
I specifically bought this because I wanted an island a little higher than the normal 36-inch counter height. The specs for this island said it was 38 inches. It is not. It is 36 inches. Otherwise, it's a decent island and is sturdy.
