I live this pot. We had been making tea by the cup and it was just tedious so I'm so stoked to finally have a teapot. We got an electric kettle also so we have a whole hot beverage station input kitchen now and I LOVE it. I like that this isn't as big as I was excepting given how many ounces it holds so it's a great size, feels sturdy, and seems easy to clean. The one downside to it being cast iron is that we had friends over the other day and made tea and it was in there for most of the day so when I went to rinse it out that night there were a couple surface rust spots where the infuser rests on the rim. They wiped off so not a huge deal but I hope I never forget to rinse it out and it gets bad rust. But as long as you rinse it out as soon as your finished with it it's perfect!
I started using this product as soon as I received it. I never really went through the directions, but it's simple enough to use without a whole lot of knowledge. I like the fact that you can weigh foods in different units (grams and ounces), and it seems to be pretty accurate.
It took 3 cartridges to practice. It works well. If you like expensive Perrier, then you will love this. It is best after setting in the fridge for 24 hours and on ice. Wash the bottle well with soap and water. Don't just rinse under water. One bottle with a cartridge will make 32 ounces.
