In the home to the best carvers on the continent, the soapstone is locally quarried in the Kisii District of Kenya, where it is excavated, cut to size, shaped and polished to a smooth, elegant finish using genuine human touch and hand tools. Our tropical themed Kente Fish Bowl is a bright and colorful centerpiece to display in any beach-inspired home. This piece is not only hand painted but also features an African Kente fabric wrap secured with hand dyed sisal rope around the edges.
