I needed some extra book storage, but didn't want to spend much. In addition, we'll be moving in a few months, so I wanted something relatively easy to move. I have some other folding bookcases that have not stood up well to a couple of moves, so I hesitated, but these look more substantial in the photos. They are! Out of the box, unfold, and voila! load with books. The cross bars at the ends of the shelves are a big plus - my other ones are open at the ends so I have to use bookends, but not with these. They're not fine furniture, but I like the clean, spare, Craftsman-like look, especially in the natural color. When I run out of room, I will definitely be back for more.
This tree looks so cute in our son's nursery! If you have a baseboards it becomes a lot more complicated. We build a cubby under it so it would be a little taller and would fit flush against the wall. But Babyletto is also great brand. We accidentally knocked it over before we had it secured to the wall and 2 of the tree limbs broke but we were able to buy 2 replacement arms from Babyletto. Funny, even with the 2 extra arms, it was still less expensive than it would have been from other retailers!
