This crib is beautiful (I got the cherry finish) and fits perfectly in the space we had for it. But... 1) The unsightly bright white stickers on each end were terribly hard to remove and left residue behind when I finally got them off. 2)The finish is beautiful, but ridiculously fragile. My baby hadn't been in it for a whole minute yet when he barely scraped his teeth on the edge and the finish was scraped away just like that. We can't leave him awake in it for any amount of time at all because if he's awake he's going to put his mouth on it and easily ruin the finish further. 3)The mattress that came with it was worthless. It was so thin my 10 month old could have rolled it into a ball and it was sooo crinkly! The noise of my baby shifting around on it would have kept us all up all night, haha :)!
I love the style of the daybed. It has a nice off-white antique finish. I wish I had purchased the matching trundle but now the off-white is no longer available. I wouldn't recommend the bed for people who toss and turn a lot as it can be a little creaky. Also, pay close attention to the measurements. I didn't and it is a little bigger than I anticipated. All in all, it is a nice bed with a decent amount of clearance underneath. It also doesn't look cheap like a lot of the others. One final note is you need help to put it together. It was a bit of a challenge for me even with help!
It took a long time to ship as overstock gave it to a different company to deliver. After it was put together our boys have loved it. The top bunk does not seem too sturdy so I don't know if it would be a good choice for a big kid. I love the idea that they can separated if my boys decide they don't want to share a room anymore. Finish is very nice.
