I got this because I wanted a low loft that was not bulky. But it is also very light weight and slides around when the kids are active on the bed. I also find the screws wiggle out regularly and need to be tightened up occasionally. The weight limit means that no adult in our house can go on top of it, but being a tall person, I can change the sheets standing on the floor. It was fairly inexpensive for a loft bed and we will only be keeping it for a couple years until the kids outgrow it anyway.
This loft bed has a wide desk. It is sleek and affordable. NOTE the ladders are located on each END. There is not ladder on the front side. Measure your room to be sure you have enough clearance on the correct end to allow for climbing the ladder. This comes in TWO boxes. I ordered two beds and UPS didn't deliver one of the boxes. Overstock customer service made it right. It took a while, but they communicated along the way. Satisfied.
We ordered two of these beds for our kids. They came and one of the beds was so busted up and broken that we couldn’t even use it and the dresser was cracked and chipped on the edge. Every pirate had some sort of small defect that we were willing to overlook until we seen how bad the bed was. I’m assuming most of those issues were because of poor handling by UPS. But that’s not why I gave it a 3 star. The whole loft itself is all cheap material. The edges of the bed is sharp and my oldest has already scratched her arm on it pretty bad. There is extra glue showing in some places and small nicks and scratches that had to be done before it was even packaged. I would say these are worth about $250-$300 a piece, not what they have them listed for
This bed was easy to assemble the color is unique it's a space saver and I would recommend this bed to any family or friend. My grandson went from crib to (crib) trendle to the loft bed he loves it
