When this arrived, one chair was missing a hole, which I had to have a relative take it and drill the hole and bring it back on Christmas day because it had "fallen off Santa's sleigh and was found out in the yard" and now a year later, one chair has cracked at the leg and two screws are stripped out and is not usable any longer. I'm attempting to repair it, as seen in the photo, but I doubt it will hold up. I don't know if it's because of the hole that was drilled after the fact, but regardless, it's served it's purpose. My son tears everything up anyway, so I am not surprised, though we did try to take extra care of this set. I have had to tighten the screw in the table and chairs multiple times. I was hoping it would last longer than a year (well it didn't even last a whole year because the chair broke about 6 weeks before Christmas). But again, the quality lived up to the price. Had I realized the hole was missing before it was too late to return in time for Christmas, I may have sent it back, but there just wasn't time at that point. The table seems to be sturdier than the chairs.
I have mixed feelings about these chairs. My wife and I ordered 3 of them for Christmas. We ordered blue, lavender, and red. The colors are spot on with the pictures and the material is vinyl/leather. It's the perfect kid chair as it's easy to clean and the cup holder is very convenient. My only gripe is the age it recommends. My kids are very average sized. I have twin boys that only weigh 45 lbs and are 7 years old. The chairs just didn't really fit them well. They were just a little too long for these chairs. And it was even worse when they tried to recline. For my 4 year old daughter, it was perfect, but for my boys, they were nothing more than something to sit on while playing video games. Saying all of that, they are very nice chairs for kids and hold up well for the typical wear and tear. I would say recommended for kids 6 and under.
