This bed is beautiful and relatively easy to put together. While it is true that the metal interior of the buttons on the tufting shows through the weave of the material covering them, it is only noticeable up really close. Very sturdy. I got the full/queen size and my mattress/box spring are full sized, so there is a gap in the fit of the frame to the box spring, but this is easily covered by a dust ruffle. I love the look of this bed! The height is good, the color and quality are true to my expectations.
We've had this bunk bed for awhile now. It's nice and sturdy, but if we had the chance to return it we would. 1. It was hard to assemble because not all parts were labeled clearly and we ended up with the ladder on the wrong side, so we had to drill our own hole to attach it. It was not fun. 2. There is not any room for a parent to sit when tucking your child into bed or trying to read them a bedtime story. They made the room between top and bottom bunk too small (maybe it has to be this way). 3. The ladder is hard for my kids to climb for some reason. I should have opted for stairs. All that being said, my kids still are happy with them. My main reason for not liking this item is point #2.
We got this bed for our son. He's very excited about his bunk bed. The build is a little laborious and one of the middle supports for the full bed did not secure as solidly as the other two. But taking those two brief hiccups into account, we love the bed and are glad we bought it. It separates easily enough to use the full bed on the bottom in our guest room when needed; when it is together it is sturdy enough that we are not worried about our darling only child. Also, the delivery was rather quick.
