We purchased this bed to upgrade our daughter's bedroom. It is part of her Enchanted Forest theme. It looks beautiful, and our 5/now 6 year old daughter adores it. We bought a light pink canopy to go over it, it is very beautiful. If you go by the directions, it is quite easy to put together. Best put together by two people. A small/medium bench fits well at the foot of the bed, and looks great. The metal is holding up nicely. It seems like it will last for quite some time. It is a nice price for such a unique and charming bed. It looks more decorated than other metal carriage beds I see on the market, and will most likely go wonderfully with any enchanting theme.
Very nice looking however, came missing a bracket for the leg to the Chest of Drawers so it is only sitting under it as the wall is holding it up. I contacted the company however, have not heard back from anyone to receive the part yet. However, the rest of the set is very nice. Only wish the bed set up a bit taller as the trundle does not pull out since the mattress in it is too tall. The trundle will only take a very small mattress like a bunky. The plan is to raise the bed a bit later.
I never write reviews, but I spent so much time looking for the perfect big kid bed for my 2.5yr old and this was it for us. I didn't want a metal frame because I didn't want a bed skirt. I didn't want a big, heavy headboard or a platform bed without a head board. Found this, the price was right. Husband had it together in less than an hour. Bought a cheap ******* twin mattress and sheets, no box spring needed. My son loves it. Husband and I have slept in it when needed with our toddler, feels very sturdy. Looks good, feels solid and has been jumped on for weeks now. The slats are not think planks, they are like strapping thickness. Would def recommend this to anyone for their first big kid bed. Actually, id prob recommend it to someone for a guest room too!
