Kraus kitchen sinks are known for excellent quality and sturdy construction. Made with durable T-304 stainless steel, this undermount sink will stand up to constant use, and easily handles your toughest kitchen tasks. Commercial grade satin finish makes cleanup as easy as wiping the surface with a damp cloth. Since thicker steel means a stronger, more dent-resistant sink, this model is made from TRU16 real 16-gauge stainless steel, always 1.5mm thick. NoiseDefend soundproofing technology ensures a quiet kitchen experience by eliminating noise and vibration when the sink is in use. All Kraus stainless steel sinks come with free kitchen accessories, including a fitted stainless steel bottom grid with non-scratch rubber bumpers.

    • Perfect Sink for me
      Verified Purchase

I used this sink in my kitchen remodel have been extremely pleased with the quality. The heavy weight stainless steel prevents clanking noise and dampers the sound of the disposal. Everything about the sink was just as described and it arrived in perfect condition. No complaints.

I would not buy an undermount sink the next time because the grouting to hold it in place gets dirty too easily. But if that is what you want, this is the sink to buy.

Love the size. Drains well. Use with a side dish drain. Use with a garbage disposal. Have a question about how to keep protective grid clean. Rubber pads on grid keep from scratching.

The sink is very deep and looks expensive. I bought it for a kitchen remodel, it looks awesome, undermount with granite. All the crates and extras are great.

    • Amazing! A sink for a lifetime of worry-free use.
      Reviewed at http://www.kraususa.com/

This sink is hands down the most superior in quality I have ever seen, installed or had the pleasure to use. I have been in the luxury and fine home-building industry for almost two decades and this sink is one of the best I have ever had the pleaseure to install. And, lucky me, I get to actually use this one on a daily basis in my own home! I have always been a stickler for a deep sink. But usually having a deep sink means that you get noise that could easily rival that of Niagara Falls when the faucet is running. Kraus knows that and solved that problem with their under-sink dampening system. THAT feature alone has me sold! The accessories Kraus included don't hurt either. But on to the most important "perk" that Kraus included..... The drain kit! Be still my beating heart... Why is this so important you ask? Keeping in mind that a large percentage of consumer end kitchen sinks do NOT come with a drain kit. This leaves the installer, contractor or even the occasional DIY'er with only a few options... Option 1: they call up the manufacturer of the sink they purchased, without a drain kit, and order one directly from them. Meanwhile, you wait for the manufactured to pack it up and ship it. Option 2: make a trip to a local home improvement store in the hopes you can find one that is going to match the specs of the sink you purchased, again without a drain kit. Option 3: in the case of replacing a preexisting sink with the new one you bought, without an included drain kit, the old drain kit is used. So, again, why is it an awesome and important feature for Kraus to include with their already amazing sink? Because 99% of the time a generic, 2nd party manufacturer or even an "authorized manufacturer" drain kit is not going to fit the drain opening exactly. "Who cares" You ask? You should care because the drain opening and the drain kit that go into should be, in my opinion, the "heart" of a sink. Especially for a one bowl/one-drain-opening sink. The quality, or lack thereof, of the seal can determine the longevity of the sink, cabinetry and everything below it. Having a perfect seal at the drain opening not only ensures that you will not have any leaks, it will also ensure that they integrity and strength of that sink is going to last beyond your lifetime. This sink and the included drain kit? PERFECTION! I know beyond any shadow of a doubt that I will never have to worry about the sink or what is below it! My rating.... 10 Stars for quality 10 Stars for value and price 10 stars for easy install

    • This sink stinks
      Verified Purchase

After searching for a good value on a 16 gauge stainless undermount sink, I chose this one, because of positive comments. When it came, it looked beautiful, and appeared to be exactly what I needed. After the installation of the sink and granite counter tops, there was a strong chemical odor coming from the cabinet under the sink. After many weeks and questions to granite company and installers, I started searching comments about the sink, and learned the odor is from some coating on the sink (which is made in China) It has been a few years now and the odor is still there, but at least we don't smell it unless the cabinet door is open. I smells like a health hazard and if it weren't for the permanent nature of the counter tops I would have returned the sink! Don't buy this sink! Not sure if all Kraus sinks have this odor, but beware.

    • 16 gauge Kraus Model KHF 203 33
      Reviewed at http://www.kraususa.com/

This is my first time ever to write a review on a product. We recently renovated our kitchen and wanted to make a big impact with our new sink. I do a lot of research before buying products, and after reading about the Kraus line of sinks, thought this one would be a good choice. The description of a 16 guage T304 stainless was very convincing, since my research revealed that the lower the gauge meant more durable and higher quality. It was truly beautiful out of the box. Our was a farmhouse under the counter mount, and our installers did an outstanding job on putting it in. Much to our dismay, after about 2 uses, we noticed scratches on the base of the sink. We have had the sink in for about a month, as the scratches continue with normal use of pots, pans, etc. Water spots are almost impossible to eliminate, unless you do towel dry the sink after each use, as the instructions mention, but honestly, who towel dries your sink after each use, especially if you have kids using it all of the time? We did not use any abrasives or steel wool, and followed the instructions that came with the sink as to the proper care. The maintenance "dos and don'ts" mentioned, if there were tougher stains, to use Ajax or Comet. We never used these, but can't imagine what it would do to the finish. We have had stainless steel sinks previously, and never experienced anything like the results we are seeing with this sink. Also, when considering a "square" sink configuration, beware that the corners are very hard to get clean. Because of the labor involved with trying to replace the sink due to the cabinet field adjustment necessary to properly seat the sink under the granite countertop, it would be prohibitive to remove and replace with another sink. This was written to maybe help a prospective purchaser, to be aware of the problems we have had.
