Since I have several orange trees I needed a juicer, I wanted an electric one that was not too big and could be stored away when not in use, this one fit the bill. The only thing I don't like about it, is that the pitcher is a bit off a lesser quality, I wish it would be a heavier plastic, other than that it does a great job so far.
Cons: 1. You do have to slice the produce thinly. It can be long, but it needs to be thin to fit not just into the chute, but because the auger has to grab hold of it and it will grab hold of a thin slice and pull it in, but with a big slice it just pulls off slices and sometimes the auger can't get a purchase on the big slice at all. 2. Feed slowly. It is a slow masticating juicer. It does remind me of someone chewing slowly and deliberately. 3. Although it locks into place I can see that auger assembly moving awkwardly especially if a big piece is in the chute. 4. Clean up is not bad. The strainer cup does have to be scrubbed with a stiff brush which is included with the parts, but if you are particular about leftover bits of food being removed, you are going to be scrubbing for a while. I found with the brush and the sink spray I can remove most easily. 7. You will need a chopstick to remove pulp from parts. Don't use your bare hands. I cut myself on that hard plastic auger. Pros 1. I like the way the pulp and juice come out and the separate hoppers that sit snugly side by side for both. 2. The hopper for the juice is about 2 cups or more. I thought it small at first, but I realized that amount is plenty large for one or two people. 3. I like the feel and shape of the machine. It is streamlined and has an attached cover for when not in use. But you still need to store the other parts separately. 4. It makes great tasting juice. I even put in pineapple rind that I would normally throw away and it juiced nicely. 5. It goes together and comes apart easily once you get it figured out as there are several parts. 6. It comes with different extraction heads so that you can use the machine for making pasta and rice cakes, and for mincing seeds and nuts. So it is multi-purpose, but I haven't tried those yet. Taken altogether, I think it is a good juicer for the price.
I have had other that I like as well, this one is quick, works great and is easy to clean, the reason I'm giving it a 4 is because of the crevasses that don't come real clean without effort. That being said I'm using it almost every day so it doesn't matter much.
