ordered white. got unfinished. very troubling at Christmas time.
Came fully assembled. Very sturdy and quality construction. Love the solid wood. I was planning on painting it but I like the wood too much so I'm going to stain it instead so I can enjoy the grain. I'm using it for a work stool at my antique Hoosier cabinet.
Love this stool! Fits perfectly with the two I purchased elsewhere. They are beautiful unfinished, but could easily be stained. Super sturdy and very durable.
Nice sturdy stool with a generous sized seat. I don't notice a scoop in the seat but it is still comfortable.I will probably paint it at some point.
We initially ordered this one, not realizing it was smaller than the bar stool we really needed. However, since we planned to personalize the larger one for our son, we will now be doing the same with the smaller one for our daughter.
These stools are great ! Solid construction and you can paint them any color you want or leave them unfinished.
Although I returned these stool they were well made and sturdy. I returned the stool because I found them cheaper elsewhere. I had no clue Overstock would've priced match them.

Solid and heavy, a very good buy for the price. I sanded it lightly to stain, followed by a clear finishing coat. Note that the seat is not very scooped: without a cushion it's not as comfortable as my old stool with a deeper recess. A thin non-slip round cushion from IKEA did the trick!
