this was a gift , and the recipient was very happy, and delighted,said it was just what she was looking for...I searched for a 28'' wooden lazy susan for a 52'' square kitchen table...this one has a hole to accomodate a patio table ...I would have preferred one without the hole ...but could not find one of that size and quality at any other store...it fills the bill...

ORIGINAL REVIEW: I ordered this to go on the 51" International Caravan Royal Tahiti 'Marbella' 5-piece Outdoor Dining Set. It is a perfect match wood/stain/design-wise to the table set, and accommodates my existing umbrella pole very well (1.75" diameter) with a 2" diameter opening in the lazy susan. It also still leaves plenty of room for a 10-12" dining plate without feeling like it will end up on your lap. Great addition, I am quite pleased with this purchase. FYI, the first one arrived with a manufacturing defect - kudos to Overstock for sending out a new one immediately.

This is a beautiful wood product. The wood almost looks like teak. I use it outdoors and a big round teak table and it works great! I love round tables but without a big lazy susan you are constantly standing up and sitting down at meal times.

If you search on-line for a lazy susan or a turntable with a hole in the center for an umbrella you quickly find out that there's very, very little to choose from. If you want one that's a good size for a circular outdoor table that seats six, this is just about the only one you'll find. It's almost just what I wanted: right size, right shape, nice appearance, and it has an umbrella hole. The turntable bearing underneath is adequate: it turns smoothly, but not that easily. It's built well, but the finish is what you'd expect from a middle school beginning woodworking student. It's not smoothly sanded; I think the assemblers stopped with medium grit sandpaper. The stain is applied unevenly, but for an outdoor table it's adequate. The design is very nice, and it appears to be very sturdy. It's just too bad that the manufacturer didn't take the small amount of extra time to go over the surface and rim with fine grit sandpaper. That would have helped the stain to penetrate more evenly too. It's a good buy for the price, and unless someone's looking for fine woodworking it's an attractive addition to an outdoor table with an umbrella.

Bought this for my outside bar I made,perfect size high quality. I may get another for my patio table.

I got this for the gateleg table and it's made outside dining that much more elegant. It keeps the umbrella steady and makes serving easy and fun. The Lazy Susan is on the table outside and I don't need a cover even with the harsh ocean weather. Wind, rain and salt air not a problem in the 4 months I've had it.

Adding these to outdoor tables simplifies serving. Center hole is perfect foe the umbrella in the center of our table.

This product is very well made. We still play CDs and have a lot of them on two mission style racks. We needed more room in that corner so this lazy susan works out well and the finish blends in well with the mission style wood. I wasn't sure how well it would hold up to holding 2 5-shelf racks plus the CDs but it's doing great. It's very sturdy on our tile floor. When we eventually transfer over to ipods and get rid of our CDs it will also work great on our patio table.

I was looking for a lazy susan that would fit on my 6 foot patio table and this works perfectly! Love it.

Put the lazy susan on my outside teak table and it is nice and large and holds all things needed for a BBQ.

The lazy susan is a bit hard to turn, but is the perfect size for my large outdoor table.

Love this lazy susan because it's large enough to hold condiments as well as a side dish or two. I have it centered on a large 6' square table and everyone can access it. Very happy with this purchase!

I modified it's use. I use it on my counter near my stove. It holds my knife blocks, utensil crock, spoon rest and a few other things. I love the look and the heaviness. It is beautiful wood.

Very well made and decorative, We use it often as it is large and helps with serving at family gatherings.

I bought this to put on our BBQ counter. We have a large counter, so I need a lazy susan that was large. This one fit the bill. It is stained with a light coat of finish on it. I plan to put a better sealer on it, due to it being outside and in the sun.
