The wood and black combo look good. Needs to be in a covered area obviously but has held up to Florida humidity just fine.
We purchased 2 of these chairs for our covered porch about 10 years ago and the moved from MA to FL and are still in great shape! I would rate these a 10! They are great!!!

This is a beautiful large Rocker with a bright white finish and contrasting medium dark wood. This rocker is rustic but with a bit more sophistication. I covered a piece of foam and simply attached it to the back. Adding your own touch allows you to pull in other colors in your room or leave it as is and enjoy the wood accent .
We've had a pair of these rockers since June. They are a lovely addition to our front porch. They are sturdy and comfortable and are holding up well to this point. Our Thanksgiving guests kept complimenting and asking where they came from.
We bought 2 of these rocking chairs to rock in. They came and I put one together. When you sit in it it "rocks" back about 3 inches and stops. When looking at other sites I finally noticed that many rocking chairs have runners that angle in towards the back- these are straight. It was disappointing to have to take it apart, repackage it and send both back.
From browsing to ordering to receiving to using took only 8 days!!! Both chairs put together with ease without assistance in less than 40 minutes. We have received multiple compliments from family, friends, neighbors, USPS, UPS, and FedEx. These are very sturdy and rock with ease.
Had a very hard time assembling this chair. Holes not aligned. Bolts kept falling out. Paint was chipped on the arm. After my husband bought a magnet for dealing with the bolts chair was put together. Frustrating for all. I do like the chair. Big and roomy. I do think paint will scratch easily.
I ordered a rocking chair and the entire back of the chair was missing from the assembly kit. I had to hire a carpenter to build the back of the chair, additional money that I did not expect to have to spend.
Its great! if it would quit blowing {the wind}.
