Every good cook (I don't do this for a living) absolutely MUST have a set of tools (knives) to get the job done in style! It is like the difference between a screwdriver and a drill. They both work but one gives you a work out and the other gives you a smooth sense of accomplishment. I like making soups & stews from scratch, meaning soup bases come from the bones & vegetables I cook, render down & freeze for later. These knives are balanced perfectly, super sharp and they look very good.
There are times kitchen knives and scissors just won't do the job when cutting up meat, chicken, etc.. Fortunately, shortly after I struggled cutting up a whole chicken, I saw this advertised and from the description decided it was just what I needed! It is very well made, does a good job and will last me a lifetime. Am so glad I saw this on your website!
Looks great too. Have used it to fillet fish, debone wild turkey and a chicken or two. Keeps a nice sharp edge but I sharpen after every use so it's always ready. Use a quality hand sharpening stone or honing steel. Don't use junk to sharpen or you can ruin a good knife.
