Hard to find a rod like this to span a large area and attach curtains with clips. It works well and allows us to cover our large sliding glass door with the curtains we wanted to use. I love being able to open them with the pulls on each side.

I have very heavy drapery so replaced a cheaper rod with this one. The rod itself is very strong and straight. Inside the rod is just cheap plastic that holds the clips for the drapes. After I placed the drapes on the clips the rod worked beautifully and I was happy with how easily they pulled. Unfortunately within one week of using the rod the interior white plastic clips pulled out and there is no way of fixing it. Very disappointed!
