      Option: 110 to 156 inch - PEWTER

When I decided to put curtains across a 12' expanse, I was pretty intimidated by the idea of installing a 12' curtain rod. This curtain rod was so easy! To top it off, it feels like I can probably use it as a pull-up bar (don't) since it feels so sturdy. I have to admit, I was lucky enough to hit wood on two of the brackets which lends to that. I mounted it very close to the ceiling, so a piece of advice for hanging this is to loosen the screw on top on top of the brackets before screwing the brackets into the wall. Otherwise, you won't be able to put the rods in the brackets. I had to unscrew all the brackets out of the wall to loosen the top screw.

We struggled for so long to find the right solution to our kitchen drapes. We wanted a setup that would allow our heavy drapes to slide easily over 8 feet. A regular rod required a bypass bracket in the middle with C rings. Nothing ever worked and the cost was ridiculous for all the separate pieces, including $35 each for finials! This all-in-one solution worked perfectly for $*!

This Edison Cordless Traverse Rod is exactly what I was looking for to use on a 10 ft. slider. My husband had an easy time with installation and I had an easy time putting my curtains on it. Love the way you can slide curtains with your hand to close.

I ordered (3) 48-86" and one that went to 120". All arrived in perfect shape in good time with "cartridge" packages inside - cartridges is what the instructions called the little things that dangle and that you hang the drape to. However, one package of cartridges was the wrong cartridge for that rod. I called Overstock and they said a Specialist would get back to me. No one called but a few days later I got a whole new rod set with both packages of cartridges (10 each) correct. good quality and I think the system will hold up well for a long time. Easy to mount and cartridges slide easily with the weight of a drape. Sturdy, Easy to mount. I like traverse rods because I am standard height woman with tall drapes. Rings wouldn't work for me. Slider cartridges are smooth and easy.

These curtain rods look great installed over our 2 triple windows! We don't have shades so constantly close our curtains and we needed them to slide with ease and look neat when both opened and closed - these do the trick! I would definitely recommend these.

I put up over a sliding patio door. Sturdy and attractive. Easy to install, four support brackets holds it well with no sagging. Sliders are better than on the flimsier rods. I didn't use the clips, because had already put drapery hooks in for another rod, but they seem to be fine. I would buy another without hesitation.

We needed a long and strong rod for a heavy curtain and couldn't find anything appropriate in stores. So we ordered the longest rod here. But when I got it and saw the tiny sliders, I got quite disappointed, for I thought they wouldn't hold our heavy velvet curtain. But I still tried them and they did hold the curtain! It took my husband less than an hour to fix the rod on the wall. This long rod was just what we needed. Thank you!

Really like these curtain rods. Have to admit, they are not as pretty as the slim, circular rods I usually like (with rings and clips), but they make maneuvering curtains so much easier! The clips slide very smoothly, which is important, because we've tried another traverse rod (from a large store) that did not have smooth slides, and that was no good. Actually looking to replace that one with one of these as well.

I purchased two 86 to 120 inch, pewter rods. My span is 182" (15' 2"). I created a room divider and was able to join the rods for a continuous run. My drapes are cotton lined linen, light-weight. They literally fly along the rod with zero resistance. Love this product. Very, very easy install; did it myself! Pewter is a great color.

These are great with the exception that there is an end clip that doesn't move. so if you want to pull the drape to one side, you have to leave the last clip empty, which doesn't look really nice. But it slides easily and looks great otherwise.

We bought 2 of these to be hung butted against each other. They are seamless and the mechanisms are very fluid. They are beautiful and look quite elegant...especially for the low price! It came with more than enough clips which I wasn't planning on using. However they don't show at all.

I had never heard of a traverse rod before, but I was researching rods that stretch a long distance and someone recommended this style. I'm so glad I went with this type of rod. The curtains run very smooth on the rod. I was not a fan of the ends, but since they are simple and hang high, you cannot see them. Very happy with this purchase.
