We've been using this humidifier every night. It's really helping to keep some moisture in the air. I like the lights while we're in bed,but I turn them off at bedtime. The controls are tricky and the sensor doesn't seem to do anything that I can tell. We just basically turn it on at night and turn it off in the morning. It runs all night on one filling.
Definitely a case of getting what you pay for. It's a very old-fashioned humidifier, the kind we had when I was a kid in the 1970s. There's no on-off switch and no output control. It's a bit challenging to empty and clean, as the lip around the bowl is so steep. And very noisy (although I like white noise when I sleep). My biggest problem with it is that it releases only a minimal amount of moisture into the room. I can hold my hand in front of the vent for several minutes, and it'll only be the tiniest bit damp. So if your apartment is very dry like mine is, you'll want a better machine.
I have had this humidifier for about a month now and have not had any problems of leakage or other previously reported issues. It humidifies well on either cold or warm setting and the directional spouts are excellent to control delivery of mist.
I love this travel humidifier. It's so quiet and easy to use on the go in my car, hotel room, or office. Perfect for someone with dry eyes who needs extra humidity in the air! I like the convenience of 2 settings to control the output.
