The Hoover WindTunnel® Airâ„¢ Bagless Upright is amazing! At only 12.4 pounds, it is very lightweight and easy to use. My other vacuum cleaner was very heavy, and I always worked up a sweat carting it around. This vacuum cleaner does a great job at getting my carpets clean. I live in a 2500 square foot house, so I have quite an area to maintain. This vacuum cleaner allows me to get all of my vacuuming done, without feeling like I just ran a marathon! The Hoover WindTunnel® Airâ„¢ Bagless Upright has a lot of great features, including an adjustable handle, a 30ft power cord, it's bagless, and it's very easy to empty the dirt cup! It also has an 8 foot stair house that can be extended up to 12 feet! Not only that, but it has a 3 in 1 combination tool and a Multi-cyclonic filtration system, rinsable filter and a high-quality filter made with HEPA media! This vacuum cleaner serious does it all! I am super impressed! I am so happy that I will be spending less money now that I don't have to buy bags or filters. This vacuum cleaner is also really quiet, which I love! When I moved into my very first apartment, my grandparents bought me a Hoover, and I loved it! I had that vacuum for 10 years before I gave it away to someone after I moved into an apartment with all hardwood floors. I can tell this vacuum cleaner is going to last just as long, as it is very high quality. I definitely think that it's a worthy investment! I received a sample of this product to facilitate my review, but my opinions are entirely my own.
I don't know what I would do without my fan. Can't sleep without noise. Great fan, cools the hot flashes!!!! Only wish I could have ordered the one with the remote. But I use it everyday. It gets hot in California. What I like the most is the noise and especially The cooling when the air conditioner is off.
To be honest, I knew that a $$ vacuum cleaner would be pretty much bottom of the barrel. But I bought it for "a quick once-over" the rugs - not to be my 'good vacuum' (which is a ********). Pros: GREAT pet hair pick up Light weight Swivels very well. Easy to empty and clean Sufficiently long cord (for a cheap vac) Cons: Single Cyclone design (means the filter above bucket gets dirty constantly - must clean with every emptying) No extension wand Ineffective turbo brush Somewhat poor suction at hose end Somewhat short hose No height adjustment This vacuum has a brush that rotates constantly. On a bare floor, there is a squeegee behind the brush opening so the cleaner doesn't throw the dirt and debris back toward you. It picks up OK on bare floors. The lack of an extension wand means you can only clean things you can reach with your arms. The cleaner picks up pet hair (border collie) well, leave rug well groomed and clean. However, when you vacuum over an area rug sitting on your wall to wall carpeting, the lack of height adjustment means it's HARD to push. On regular, medium pile carpeting, it's easy to push. Suction is 'meh'. About as much as an old vacuum we used to keep in the garage for the cars. Doesn't impress me. But suction doesn't get the rug clean, the rotating brush does that job. And it does work just fine. All in all, I bought this to sweep the rugs and floor in between cleaning with my 'good vacuum' (********), and it is serving it's purpose. If I had a one or two bedroom apartment, this would be a good choice in vacuum (long cord). Be prepared to clean the filter with each emptying of the container. In my 1800 square foot home, if this were my ONLY vacuum, I'd hate it.
