Bought with intentions of hiding to a quilter who wanted the 41" height. Item arrived as the standard 36" sturdy construction almost had her keep it but she wants the tall height to limit the bending over. Sturdy construction good quality just hoping to save someone from only being 50% cost back after the return shipping label cost.
I find this board sturdy and not likely to tip over with use. The area at the end to sit the iron on is good if you have an item (like sheets) for which you need the entire length of the board. It's also nice to have the area underneath to place finished items without walking away from the ironing board.
GREAT iron! Extremely sturdy. Not flimsy like what I found in stores. Changed the pad and cover and now it's almost perfect. It's actually kind of heavy which I like but I wouldn't allow my elderly mother to grab it on her own
This ironing board was purchased as a gift. It was what she wanted. Nice size and quality.
I was happy to receive this ironing board, though it cost a bit more than I had expected to spend. My only other issue is that it's a little wobbly on my hardwood floors. I had create some cushioning to stabilize the board while ironing.
Completely surprised with the quality and appearance of this item!! I'm very happy with this purchase. It has a built in spot for iron and the cover is a great color and quality! I would recommend this item!
Shipped quickly, packaged well. It looks great, easy to handle, sturdy, good value for the price, larger than I expected. I'm very pleased, but so far I haven't used it yet, will report after using it.
EXCELLENT! This iron board is very sturdy and magnificently manufactured to last a lifetime. It is very structural without flaws. I found it to be a tad bit heavy for myself due to my physical back and neck issues other than that I really love this ironing board. It is a very beautiful product and irons well with the self-attached ironing board cover. I made a EXCELLENT purchase!
Dangerous, wobbly, will not stand flat on floor…any floor surface….store will not take item back as package was opened…not used…opened to set ironing board up….and immediately realized that this item is dangerous…particularly if you have small children or are a senior citizen…very disappointed in product stores attitude… its heading to the trash bin…what a waste of money. Not your typical product or customer service Container Store.
The product is extremely unstable on hardwood floors, and there's no way to really get things stabilized. The way that the feet are designed allows an extremely small contact surface despite the feet appearing to be very large. The sizing of the iron holder doesn't fit most irons in a way where they site upright very well. I ended up not using it since the board was so unstable I was worried it would fall over.
