I wen through hundreds of overstocks tables they have and finally stumbled across this beauty! I was very skeptical at first because my wood floors are grey and I was nervous it wouldn't look all that great. But boy was I wrong!! It looks amazing! and we are very happy with it.

This table is great for our informal dining room; it could also be used as a large desk. The style and design is appropriate for contemporary or more traditional surroundings. In addition to the beautiful herringbone pattern, we ordered it because it was shorter in length than other tables we considered. The first one arrived quickly but like mentioned in other reviews, it was damaged. Overstock was good about arranging for the damaged one to be picked up and a new one was here in just a few days. The table is heavy and solid. The four legs are the only assembly and each go on with 3 hex bolts, a locking washer and a regular washer. It took me about 15 minutes to put it together. When tightened, the legs seem like they will last. The only complaint is that, initially, the finish looks (and smells) good. However, if you look closely, you can tell that these tables were mass produced and machine sprayed -- there is some overrun on the edges in some places. I noticed the same thing on the one we sent back. The good thing is that these table would be easy to stain on your own if the need ever arises. Overall, we are very pleased with the purchase and would buy it again even considering the problem with the first one sent to us.

This table is great! It looks very expensive and fits in well in our home. I love the rustic finish of the wood. I also recommend th bench. It gives the table a more unique feel.

Heavy and solid. Very stunning looks to it as well. Great packaging and easy to assemble. Delivery was very timely and actually delivered by UPS. As packaged, table fit in the back of a compact pick-up. I was able to handle the package by myself and had it assembled and up in about 30 minutes.
