I put it at the top of the stairway in order to close it up and keep the cool air from the air conditioners downstairs work great took several minutes to put it up look honky Dory easy to clean if it gets dirty just wipe it down with a damp rag
This door is definitely not made of real wood - it's all plastic panels connected by plastic sheeting. It was easy to install, but a few screws were missing from the package. There is no magnet to hold it closed, so it is always open a little bit. I would not recommend purchasing this door unless you are not concerned about how it looks or closes.
