This is a very large air purifier compared to the others that I have but it cleans the air of a massive 1692sq foot space every hour making it perfect for our open floor plan home. You can definitely tell that it is working. I have had sinus infections and this definitely makes me feel like I am able to breathe with less irritation. This is an excellent air purifier and I'm extremely pleased with it. I gave it 4 stars because the fan can get fairly loud on the higher settings and although I do appreciate the oil diffuser pad (I use essential oil diffusers all the time) the aroma the pads provide is very faint even with adding extra drops.
The homedics air purifier is easy to use, easy to set up, and the manual is easy to follow. There are multiple filter settings, but we tend to keep it on the setting that adjusts to sensing the air itself. So (for example) I burn something in the kitchen, the purifier will sense the change in air quality and adjust accordingly. It's been very handy to have around.
I have 2 of these units. They are great EXCEPT the replacement uvc bulbs have been out of stock for over a year. Extremely frustrating. So if you are counting on the uvc function ….this is not for you
I this is the best air purifier I have used. It's huge so it cleans the air through our whole apartment. I love that it has an oil tray to give the home a lovely scent. It's like a air purifier/humidifier combo!
I have had an air purifier running in my bedroom for the last 5 years nonstop. When I received this one, I switched them out. This to me is a 2 for your money sort of thing. I leave it on auto during the day, crank it up to 4 at night, and it acts like a sound machine at night. It runs really quietly when it's on the lower settings, but it sounds like a wind machine when it's on the 4 setting. I can't say enough good things about it.
The Homedics air purifier is lightweight but powerful. I have cats and dogs and this filters my upstairs bedroom and controls the odors. I keep it set on Auto so it adjusts to the nearby air quality, you can see from my photo that the light is green which means 'good' room air. It comes with a Quick Start guide and a manual. Very easy to figure out. I have not used the essential oils compartment yet but it does come with extra pads to use. Very happy with it.
I originally had three air purifiers, one from Dyson, one from Mi, and another from Winix. I'm delighted to have the opportunity to review the Homedics air purifier this time. Firstly, this machine is suitable for use in a large bedroom. I have a dog at home, so using an air purifier is essential for my sensitive skin every day. The operation of this machine is very simple and easy to understand. Generally, selecting the automatic mode is sufficient. The sleep mode is suitable for sleeping. Additionally, you can manually choose from four different fan speed modes. For those who like to use essential oils, the purifier also has a tray for inserting essential oil pads. Overall, I am very satisfied with this machine. The only drawback is that it doesn't come with a remote control or the option to control it through a mobile app.
We have two dogs and a cat so we always had dust and a bit of animal smells but this made that so much better. It's only been a few days and I could not live without it. I really like the oil tray I can use my essential oils and make it smell better as well. I plan on getting one for my mom since she lives near a plant nursery and there is always pollen in the air.
I received this air purifier from Influenster and Homedics without charge in return for my honest, unbiased review. I love how light this air purifier is even though it's big. From unpacking it to plugging it in, it was super simple. All of the options are quite self-explanatory, too. I love that it had an oil tray so you can add essential oils to make your house smell good. VERY clever. It works well and does its job. The only two downsides are that the filter looks like it'll need to be replaced instead of a rinse and reuse like other purifiers. So there are reoccurring fees associated to getting this purifier. The second downside is that it is loud on the 3rd and 4th fan speed settings. It's an annoying buzz. I like keeping it in automatic option best.
