Due to moving cross country and finding it necessary to discard many items - such as stools - I now found my husband needing a stool in his new workshop in our new home. After searching and searching for all the necessary stool requirements, I finally found this HomePop Open Back Metal 24" Counter Stool on Overstock.com as it met the height, width, "no-back," "foot rest," and cushion requirements that he had asked for. After putting together the few pieces needing to be put together (which totaled about 10 minutes of my time!!), I simply put a lot of ribbon around and on it and then placed it by the Christmas tree. When he finally noticed it, took it to his workshop and tried it out, he was thrilled with the stool. It met every request on his list and he said it was perfect. Not only that, the stool is really good looking and would be nice in any room. It was a great buy as well.

They are sturdy and the seating is very comfortable. The size with no back makes the counter uncluttered and you do not have to move them to work on the counter.

These stools seemed to be miniature in size. Too low for a regular counter height island and the black metal legs look so cheap in person. It felt sturdy surprisingly but still Returned immediately.

I ordered 3 of these units and am completely pleased with them. It took only about 20 min. to assemble all three. All bolts and hex wrenches were in the packages. They are sturdy and the seating is very comfortable. The size with no back makes the counter uncluttered and you do not have to move them to work on the counter.

We received our counter stools today and we love the look, color, and style. We ordered the tan color and they’re the perfect height for our island countertop. They feel firm and comfortable. For the price we’re happy with them. The only negative is that out the four stools I ordered, the rubber ends on the legs (anti-slip grip) had fallen off and broken in half on two of them. Luckily the broken pieces were all in the box and big enough for us to super glue back on.

This is a square seat, comfortable and sturdy.
We have a newly remodeled kitchen, and these were the perfect choice. They are comfortable, modern-simple style, light gray stools. It was a surprise when we received them to see that the seat was completely square shaped, which adds more support and comfort. Very happy with this purchase!

I purchased the bar stools in brown. They are sturdy and look nice, but the color is more of a dark gray and dark tan. The cushion is thick and comfortable. One reviewer had mentioned she didn’t like the metal legs/base and I was surprised by the base as well. I was expecting a smooth dull black base, but it is actually a high gloss black textured paint. It’s not a very bumpy texture, but textured nonetheless. I don’t have a lot of light in my kitchen and even less under the overhanging counter, so it doesn’t bother me, but I thought I’d let potential buyers know.

So sorry, I must retract the color answer. We actually have the brown stool, but it looks more gray and takes on a gray cast which is probably why I got confused in answering your question. Thinking you would really like it, though!!
