After I spent all day putting it together, I pulled the leaf out and there was a big crack in the leg. I've had it for about 6 months and it's holding up fine with the crack in the leg. I chose not to contact the company because I couldn't imagine reassembling the island with a new piece. Also, the finish around the edges doesn't hold up well with normal use.

Rceived my island in a matter of days within ordering it! Love, love, love it!!! Had a few minor chips and scratches and the leg to one of the chairs was the same which had to be replaced but the company was more than happy to replace all parts needed. Would definitely recommend this product...only wished we would have gotten the granite top island. Truly a good product for the money! Loved having it shipped directly to our house!

Not much to say that is negative. Very happy with finished product. It took a few hours to set up but wasn't bad (2 of us) A few nicks in surface and hinge is slightly out of place but all in all 95 out of 100.

  • Very Pleased - Very Impressed

If you are a homeowner, you have probably taken products out of a box from China and spent an afternoon trying to decipher sketchy instructions and tried to complete a box full of panels into something that looks like the object one wanted and ordered. FORGET ALL THAT. This item comes to you in somewhat pre-assembled sections that go together like toast and butter. Everything clearly labeled, easy to assemble, made of wood and components it's almost a shame to cover up, and the end product is substantial, usable, beautiful and worth every penny. Assembly is a pleasant 1 to 1.5 hours. Expensive, but worth every penny. One of our favorite pieces in our home. Could even be considered a source of pride, "I built that!" (well, sorta.)
