UNIQUE AND NOT YOUR GRANNY'S CURTAINS - you will love the new look. More elegant than grommets, but not as formal as waterfall-type valances. I purchased the white panels, and it is a pure white. The faux silk look very real. It looks lovely in our dining room that has grey walls, heavy white wood trim with walnut stained English country furniture. The front windows are triple so I used one long wood pole painted white. There were creases after removal from the packaging and it said not to iron them. Since they are washable, I did that and the creases disappeared; however, the fabric became very "full" kind of like a dressy skirt. I'm buying lead weights in a fabric store like Joann's and that will help them hang straight. (Custom drapes have these in them for that purpose and the fabric covering prevents the metal from touching the faux silk drape.) These are already lined and have a wonderful feel to them. I buy the fabric covered chain-like lead by the yard and you just feed it into the bottom hem. The twist does have a tendency to make its own vertical folds down the rest of the curtain, so keep trying until you get just one fold below each tab.
This is a perfect product. Bravo. I have silk drapes from the same company and now these. I prefer these faux silk agave blue drapes. The texture and sheen are incredible. The lining is soft and luxurious. I also purchased the faux taffeta in an orange and did not like those. The yarn dyed is far superior. They are true to length.
Excellent quality, great price. This faux dupioni silk could fool anyone. The lining is high-quality linen, with a flannel underlining. Just awesome. I don't know how they sell at this price.
