Fits great, looks nice, good deal
i use these slip overs so my home doesn't look like the mess of IKEA and hand-me-down furniture that it actually is. I bought a love seat cover on clearance at BB&B and purchased this couch cover to match, The couch she fits my IKEA Ektrop sofa well. Knowing how to position and tuck it takes a a few minutes. The cover does not need ironing though ironing the ties makes it look much nicer. It's a slipcover, it's not going to be perfect, but it will protect your furniture and hide a hideous pattern. I like that the ivory color is not sheer. It does get a little untucked when you sit on it but nothing catastrophic, and it is easy to tuck back into place when the guests leave.
Hand-Tufted NOT Hand-Made
This rug is a lovely addition to my master bathroom. The rug is made in India from 100% wool. The pile is a hefty .625 inches, so measure for door clearance before purchasing, and take into consideration that ALL wool rugs shed. One customer review did mention "lines" in the weave. The rug I purchased also has a few "lines"in the silk (wool). I find this an acceptable factor and not a flaw. Closer inspection of the "lines" reveal color variation in the wool used in each section of the geometric pattern and they do not compromise the section edges which are crisp. The best way I can describe these "lines" is that they give the impression that the rug has been freshly vacuumed. The rug's quality is evident in that this rug lays flat, without any rolling or curling along the edges. This rug is a good buy, and as a purchaser of it I'm very satisfied. But I would like to point out that this rug is NOT Hand-Made; it is HAND-TUFTED, and there is a BIG difference between the two. This rug is mechanically made. In fact, the only human interaction in the process of creating this rug (or any Hand-Tufted rug) is that of the person who uses a "mechanical gun/wand" to "shoot" wool pieces through a sketched pattern on the rug's canvas backing. A caveat in determining if a rug is Hand-Tufted or Hand-Made is a Hand-Tufted rug WILL have a backing of rubber, felt or otherwise, sewn or glued onto its bottom. If glue has been used on the backing it may create an environmental hazard and emit an odor, so choose wisely. A Hand-Made rug WILL NOT have a backing, does have a considerably higher price-point, and is a better choice environmentally. Furthermore, a Hand-Made rug's pattern and color carries through to the bottom. Hand-Made rugs can be flipped and used, though the color will not be as vibrant. Purchase this product because it suits your taste in decor and not because you are under the impression it will carry any value down the road. Thank you for reading my review. ;)
Does it’s job
Not much to say here. I will note, this is a flat rug pad, so use it only if you want the rug not to slide, but don’t want any extra height or padding to the rug (low clearance doors, etc).
