Four and a half stars
Overall for the price a good buy. The cream color leans toward the yellow tones and is fairly shiny faux leather--semigloss if it were paint. It is well-constructed and feels very stable once assembled. You must put the metal leg framework together and attach the top...all easy to do. There are plastic/metal adjustable screw-in pegs on each of the four bottom corners for leveling. It's fairly heavy so doesn't move around easily and could have toe-stubbing potential. The top is very firm for sitting on with no give, so not super comfortable as a longterm seat. The upholstery is well-done.

These Ottoman's are just so beautiful, when we saw them on the website, we knew we needed to get one, but actually decided on two. We have had friends over and this is the first thing they talk about.So we are very satisfied.
