We were so pleased with the quality of this headboard, especially considering the price. We were trying to match antique maple dressers with these posts....the color and grain were perfect. And, the ironwork with the moderate scrolls is decorative, yet simple enough to be used in our antique or traditional decor. I also appreciated that it was lightweight, so that I could move and handle it by myself until I had 2 others to help me attach it to the frame. Attachment was extremely simple and all that was necessary was included in the packaging.
Headboard was easy to assemble and fit my traditional king just fine. I added felt pads to the back of the headboard legs to keep it from marring the wall. Overall, extremely pleased!
This is a nice headboard for the price. I have had this installed for about a month It is comfortable and I like the contemporary yet traditional look that has the ability to be a transition piece to hold different styles together. We have a mid century home with traditional and industrial flares, so this fit the bill. He sand color is definitely your bet if you want a more gray color. My sheets are gray and we have gray accents in our bedroom, but our walls are taupe, so this works well! The bracket below the headboard shows on each side, which is annoying, but not sure how to avoid it.
I purchased this headboard for a queen bed in our guestroom. Since I had just painted the room, I wanted a clean look. The simple, traditional look was what I wanted, and the metal headboard was stable and solid. All bed frames are not created equal, and it required a little adjusting to bring the frame and headboard together, but I was able to accomplish this myself, in a relatively short period of time.
