Very pleased so far. I have not yet tried to assemble it (long story), but it is clear that all the necessary hardware is there and the legs appear to be very sturdy. The nail head trim is very nice and the studs appear to be evenly spaced and perfectly in line. I took a chance that the color was not as pictured as was delighted to be right. The color is khaki a warm, light/medium-toned stone beige that perfectly blends with every neutral I threw at it. In the picture on both my PC and tablet, it looks as if it is a med/dark saddle brown. Not true. It's khaki. And it is just what I wanted. It is very attractive and rich-looking and that's coming from a total furniture snob. I admit it. Most of my furniture is very high end and was bought on clearance in the swankiest shops in town. As you can imagine it took forever to furnish my home as I couldn't afford to just go out and buy what I wanted. I am converting a departing college student's room into a more sophisticated space for guests and I just couldn't be more please. Arrived in perfect condition.
First off, the king size version of this is perfectly proportioned, but it's still VERY big. I didn't measure my wall before ordering this, and it's about 6 inches too wide to avoid being hit by my closet door. Make sure you measure for clearance! Despite the instructions saying otherwise, I was able to assemble and install this myself (with the aid of a power driver and a nice long level) in about two and a half hours. No individual step was difficult, but there -were- a LOT of Euro screws left over which made me worried I skipped a step! Hanging the mounting stringers would have been much easier with someone to hold and someone to drill, but I managed just fine. The veneer is nice and thick - a couple bumps and brushes during assembly didn't affect them at all. Prepac DOES include a veneer pen to mark over any scratches. A very nice find in the packaging.
