These look nice but are hollowed out along the back of the pull instead of being a solid piece. You don't see it but you feel it when opening the door or drawer. I was replacing pulls that I didn't like the finish of. I had a hard time getting these to sit straight. And they only come with one set of short screws. Higher end pulls come with two sets, one short and one long to accommodate drawers that have a faceplate. If on a strict budget, I suppose I would recommend, otherwise spend more and get a better quality product. I do really like the black nickel finish though. Think dark pewter colored
The home we recently purchased had been decorated in modern style and I absolutely hated the cabinet hardware that must have come from the starship enterprise?!? In my attempt to find new hardware that kept to the black & silver theme that was in the home, I found these and loved the pewter finish and that the pulls were traditional enough yet with a modern touch. I love them and they work perfectly in our home to satisfy my tastes without looking too eclectic!
I did return these as the color satin pewter is grayer than the satin pewter fixtures of another manufacturer I was trying to match. They look nice and appear to be decent quality although they are "hollow" backed. The handles I was trying to match are solid...when you put your fingers in the handle to pull, you feel the whole solid handle. When you feel the back of these, you feel 2 ridges and nothing in between. They are probably fine for what they are. I saw no visible flaws, rough edges or other signs of poor manufacturing and if not for the color difference may have kept them.
