  • Great personality piece

It was shipped right to my front door very quickly and I assembled it in less than 5 mins. The sofa and the throw pillows are definitely stiff and the pillows are an awful color (mustard green/brown). I removed the pillows and added some different ones which I love about this piece. I can add my own flare to it - I can easily change the look of my sitting area whenever I get bored with the colors since its neutral in color. It is also not exactly a sofa. Its more of a loveseat! I am 5"5 there is no way I could comfortably lay on this couch. I like for my living rooms to have a homey/welcoming feeling. The boxiness of this piece makes it look less inviting for sitting - once again adding different throw pillows helped. Overall I'm happy with the way this piece fits in with my other chairs and it is the perfect size for my living room which has walls that are angled.

Good value, sturdy. Not a super comfy lounging couch, a little high, but a nice addition to a living room or a small apartment. Classically stylish, nice clean lines. Very easy to assemble.

  • 'Firm' is not even the word

I really wanted to like this, but I ended up returning it. The good: Assembly was a snap. The material seemed like it would be very easy to spot clean. Very nice lines and decent color. The bad: I am aware that it is "small scale" for apartments and small spaces, but the dimensions were off slightly, making it even smaller than what is listed on the site. I'm only 5'4" and I felt weird sitting on this sofa. I just couldn't get comfortable. The seat dimensions were really much too small. The other sad part about this sofa is that it is soooo incredibly hard. I would only purchase this for an office or somewhere where you might be expected to provide seating, but you really don't want people to get comfortable and stay. After about a week, I started noticing that the sofa was making creaking noises when I sat on the seat near either arm (I am not that heavy). FYI, that is generally a sign of poor joint construction. I suspect it wouldn't fall apart anytime soon, but I wouldn't expect it to last beyond a few years.
