The couch came in a huge box. The assembly instructions were a little awkward, but the couch pieces were simple enough to put together with just a few glances at the instructions.It took two people and about an hour to assemble. The box includes all of the tools and hardware you need. The couch has a nice microfiber cover and removable pillow covers. The couch is perfect for our formal living room- chic, comfortable, and lively. I also bough two of the matching accent chairs, and was pleased with those as well.

I ordered this sofa to fit in a smaller space, the listed info was = Sofa dimensions: 36 inches high x 67.5 inches wide x 34.5 inches deep. The sofa I received is actually 74 inches wide not the stated 67.5 inches. My couch looks just like the picture, pillows and all, but it is not the stated length. In addition, putting it together was a pest: metal brackets were bent, pieces did not fit just right, we had to take off several parts that came attached to the sections of couch and adjust them. Now that is is together, it is a good couch for the money but a real trial to put together.

My 18 year old grandson and I had put aside two hours today to assemble the couch. I was not needed. From the time he took it from the box, assembled it, and threw away the box, it took him 30 minutes! The material is red, very soft like velvet. Very comfortable seating to lie down or just sitting on it will fit 2 adults and 1 child. Lots of room in comfort! The color is vibrant.. I will need to change my drapes next to it, since the drapes are blue/maroon check, and really doesn't go with couch. Was going to do this anyway. I am hoping to find a red/yellow check....or red and gold stripes. The pillows are nice and comfy. They are bright, but spring is here! The size if the loveseat is impressive. I am 5 ft 3, and I can now actually lie down without my feet over the edge! A bigger person could sleep on it, with feet on the arms! I love the zippered cushions. I used to have a velvet couch with zippers, and it was much easiernto keep clean than steam cleaning! I I would call this casual, but you could make it formal by the accessories near it. When delivered, the ups man brought into the house on a dolly. We got it last week, but today was first time to have time to assemble. I have two dogs..A 90 pound black lab mix and a 35 pound whippet cattle dog. The whippet never chose to sit on the other loveseat..she prefers the bed. However, the lab loves the old loveseat, so we just moved it to another area, so he can continue to use it, instead of the new one. And, I can also use it to watch TV without glasses. But, it is a formal couch, and the color does not go with anything anymore! I love the old loveseat...I paid $100 for it at a yard sale 15 years ago. It has gone through several dogs and little children. I wish I could have gotten one similar, but my wallet says no. I think if I wanted to replace it , would coat me around $1500.. Still usable, but I have been stitching it for the thinning areas, and I had to put a board under it. But, it lasted 15 years, before things falling apart. I don't expect this couch to last that long. I will be happy to get between five and seven years. The back cushions are not attached, a good idea. They are higher than most, so I would not recommend to put in front of a low window. I am a happy camper, so far, neither dog has attempted to jump on it, good! They both are shedding and have tiny black hairs that cling! Will I buy another piece of furniture from Overstock? Yes, I will.. My first time buying a couch by mail! Don't hesitate to buy this...I am hoping it won't make me hungry all the time..red makes you hungry! So, for a couch under $500, no shipping charges, A lovely color and soft material...the cushions are not too soft, nor too hard. But just right. And it does not stick out from the wall as much. Great for small rooms. In rate bit 5 stars

It's a little smaller than I anticipated, but that's only because I didn't take a measuring tape to my living room... however it works perfectly because my living room isn't huge anyway. Love the cushions, very comfortable, easy to clean, not a big fan of the cushions but that's fixable with new pillows. Very happy with this purchase! Shipped quickly, too.

I'm writing because my BFF and I put this couch together in 59 minutes flat! The directions were fine (including the suggestion that you get a friend to help!), all the pieces were there, and we were both amazed at how solidly built it is. Cushions on back of the seat are poly, but seat cushions are very firm. Good webbing and metal supports on both backs and under seats, covred by fabric on back. Poly accent cushions are cheap, but that's not why I bought the couch. The finish is nice microfiber, as advertised. The seats are solid, quite firm, feel as if they will hold up. This little couch is great, just what I hoped it would be, and very good for the price. It also shipped very fast.

This assembled fairly quickly, the only downside being the packet of silica gel that had opened in transit, leaving us with a billion pellets scattered all over the floor. The cushions on this loveseat are not reversible, and the back cushions are attached to the frame, so if rotating your cushions is important to you, this one isn't for you. The microfiber upholstery vacuums up easily. A good solution for a small, two-cat household. Fairly comfortable. The throw pillows were obnoxious colors and have been replaced.

We needed a smaller, less deep, more classic styled couch for a tv- watching room. This one is perfect. Even at 64 it took me less than 2 hours to put it together and it made the room. I could not find anything like it in the furniture stores . I'm hoping it will be as long wearing as it is attractive.

The assembly was easy and went much faster when I grabbed another hex wrench so we could both tighten at the same time. The back isn't an issue for me as it backs up to a wall, but I don't think it would be much of an issue if it showed. If you pull the fabric tightly when attaching to the velcro, it looks fine. The sofa is small, more like a loveseat. The cushions are firm, but not overly firm as some reviewers have said. It's very comfy. The pillows were a nice surprise. I expected to replace them with ones of better quality but I love them. The fabric is very rich-looking and the colors are vibrant. Love this little sofa!

Our old sofa was larger and my husband questioned if this one would be large enough for 2 adults......and a Labrador retriever. The answer is yes. It took maybe 30 minutes to assemble - came in 1 large carton. The color is a perfect, pretty red and the size is between a love seat and a full-size sofa. It's comfortable. Though the cushions are not designed to turn over, we swap left - to - right every couple of weeks and this should let it wear evenly. Very happy! Price made us happy, too!! Downside? The throw pillows are not so great. Made new ones to replace and will put the striped ones in the donation box.

I just relocated from Costa Rica. We had to buy all new EVERYTHING! This little sofa is a GEM! Easy to put together, sturdy, quality in material and looks fantastic in my den. You cant go wrong with purchasing this sofa. It took me approximately 1 hour 10 minutes to assemble.

I purchased this couch despite the objections of my family. I'm so glad I stuck to my guns and got the couch!!! It's wonderful---I'm a 'flopper' when I sit on my couch and this one seems to keep its shape. The color is not a screaming red and works with my other colors. I think this was a great first time experience for me!

fit well in my apartment. the color was great. very easy to put together. a bit small but that's good for apartments. now it sits in my den.

Like the review says - just not comfortable. Metal beams in back are hard and I bumped/bruised my leg several times. It's ok, would not buy again - it's worth it to pay more for something comfy

I bought 2 and I love them. They are larger than the loveseat I had, but smaller than the old sofa. The fabric and color are great. Very happy with my purchase.

Great for young couple for 1 st. Love seat. Must say the fabric was great, and it's a true Red, which I want. Easy to put together. But the back looked from the size 3 inches w/o the cushions. It appeared cheap on that angle

My children helped me put the love seat together and we had fun doing so. It is very sturdy and and we love how comfy it is. One year later: The cushions went flat and it felt like we were sitting on bars and because the back cushions can not be removed they look disfigured. We threw it out and I feel like it was a waste of money.
