I'm giving this only 4 stars instead of 5 due to the fact that the one we received this second time around is MUCH darker than the photo, and entirely different from the fist one we purchased 18 months ago. That said, yes, I am aware that these are reclaimed wood and made to order, so I was not expecting an exact copy of the first one I bought. But because I was trying to come close to pairing it with the sideboard from the same collection, I was taken aback momentarily when I unpacked this new table and it was entirely different in color, and even size and type of boards used. However, after putting it into the dining room space, with the chairs and sideboard I already had, I found it works perfectly in that "mismatched reclaimed wood" way! I now love it just as much as the first one. Be aware though, that the photos in this line may not be entirely representative of what you'll receive. Overstock customer service is really good though and may be able to help you include a note in your order if you need a specific color etc.
If you are looking for a sturdy dining table for a small space with enough character to fill a stadium, this is it. I admit I was a *** *** addict but have grown frustrated with recent order/delivery issues and their high prices. I checked out OverStock to find my new dining table and was glad to find this one from Timbergirl. The table arrived early and was well packaged - a bit heavy (90 lbs) but I expected that from the description. The table is in 3 pieces - the reclaimed wood top with the bolts and washers attached on the side and the two metal leg bases. Assembly is as simple as unscrewing the bolts from the table, attaching the legs and tightening the bolts. The table top is made of lovely reclaimed wood with various natural elements of the wood exposed and very subtle hints of ivory and turquoise paint finish. The color was a surprise but is faint and adds so much character to the table. After assembly, I wiped the table top with Murphy's Oil soap to bring out the lovely color and wiped down the legs with Windex to knock off the dust. I have four suede dining chairs that sit two on each side comfortably. I really cannot say enough good things about this table.
Beautiful piece; the reclaimed wood has so much character. Using it as an oversized desk for my office. Arrived fast, easy to assemble. Couldn't be happier. Purchased other Timbergirl furniture, and love every piece.
after all troble to return the broken part it's a good item
Beautiful table very sturdy. Came way before expected delivery date. The top of the table isn't completely level some people may not like that. Overall it's a very nice table I put a little orange glow on it and it darkened the wood a little bit which I liked.
I was very pleased with this table. It has beautiful coloring and nice weight to it. I am using it as a desk but it's not a smooth top so I wouldn't write without a blotter.
I put oil on this table and it only brought the color out even more. I get more compliments on this table than I ever thought I would. Looks great with one of the benches and some black metal cafe chairs. My kid can even on it. You will need to treat the wood in some way if you want to put food or glasses on the table. And be warned, like most reclaimed wood tables, you never know what color you’ll get or how flat the surface will actually be. That’s part of the beauty in the table.
I actually needed a long office work space, but I didn't want the typical desk look. Of course its perfect as a dining room table. Everyone compliments my work space.
THIS IS FABULOUS! I absolutely LOVE my Dining Room table. Just funky enough. No, you really cannot use this as a desk (although it would look cool) because it is not smooth. My guests admit they keep trying to 'find a DR table like mine!'
Table is easy to assemble and works great in an apartment or small space. Looks awesome.
Easy to assemble and perfect rustic quality. Two negatives the holes for the legs do not line up and then is after putting on the legs the right one bowed in a little. No problems this far hope it doesn't, tip. Very heavy though.
Great table, just what i was looking for. Sturdy and easy to put together. It came well packaged- very impressed. Top is reclaimed - so if you are looking for a smooth/flat top this product isn't for you.
I loved this table but be warned!!! There is a lot of true reclaimed aspects to this table, still loved it but about a month in the hairline split which ran thru the table I believed to be just superficial. It actually has split from one end of the table to the other wide open so I can see thru to the rug underneath. This is a table that was used only a few times so is really a defective issue. The wood is very dry and doesn’t seem to be properly pressurized or treated. When I contacted overstock I was told that it was past the return/ exchange window so I’m now stuck with a table I paid full price for and is split in half after 6 weeks. Extremely disappointing , also the screws need tightening often as the wood settles. The metal legs are also filled with rusty dust (a lot) so don’t open or set up near any rugs or carpeting.
If you're looking for rustic/minimal this is a great option. The legs come detached but is super easy to install, you just need to screw in the pieces. The top surface is a bit uneven which sometimes is annoying for placing vases, etc but other than that I love mine.
I really love this table the color how it looks in my dining room, but after a few weeks started to split or the wood expanded in the middle, I order a replacement because like I said I love how this looks so will see how it goes Updated** I got two replacements one came broken and the second one same problem the table is splitting the table is beautiful but not worth it.
Love the look of this table. Easy to assemble as well. The surface is not completely flat in some places so stemmed glasses might tip easily. Overall I'm very satisfied with my purchase.
This set is nice and fairly sturdy. Its hard to clean though but gets lots of comments from guests.
This is beautiful reclaimed wood but it cracked next day after opening the door. Since the wood is not sealed, it does separate from the "joints". No worth the hassle. I bouth the first table, it split, then i exchanged it. split again. Done with it. not worth it
...but the wood is actually really poor. Very dirty and greasy, plus the surface is not flat at all. I would not recommend to buy.
