Story Behind the Art:
India's Seema says, 'My association with designing, I think, dates back to my childhood. Ever since I can remember, I use to paint a lot, from my mom's sari to our curtains and even our bedspreads. Once I painted on one of my cousin's tee shirts and it came out really well. I think I saw my calling and, after graduation, I took a five-year degree course in textile design. I mainly focus on embroidery and the coordination of color and fabric. I love playing with fabrics and textures. I also love bright colors.'

I love them!
The colors may be just a tad less vibrant than the online image but they are still bright and beautiful and sewn well (but then, this aging "hippy" loves all the beautiful hand-crafted textiles from India!). I especially love the variety of textures and whimsical designs. Recommended for all who are bohemian at heart!
