Story Behind the Art:
'I always knew I wanted to paint, but I wasn't sure I could make a living out of it, so I thought I should look into other fields too,' recalls Abdul Aziz Mohamadu. 'I observed master carver Musa at his workshop for a period of time, then I picked up a log of wood and started carving out a mask as I had observed him doing. This surprised Musa and he was willing to help me perfect the skill. I developed a love for this new art, and that's how I eventually became a master carver too.'

If you like African art, this is a great piece to have in the home. The colors match very well with my bedroom decor. Have gotten lots of compliments from guests.
Handmade Sese Wood Love Me African Wall Mask is a beautiful mask...Nice length to it as well.
I really like this mask. It is a nice, large size. The dimensions are a little smaller than what is listed, but the colors and quality are good. I am happy with the purchase.
