These Maasai tribesmen who produce these carvings use a knife and bladed tools only. A rough file and sandpaper is used to finish these pieces. No electrical tools are used. These carvings provide a livelihood for the artisan who often have no other source of income.
The handcrafted touch of artisan skill creates variations in color, size and design. If buying two of the same item, slight differences should be expected. Note: Color discrepancies may occur between this product and your computer screen.
