This hand-crafted item and many others come from a third generation family run workshop in mainland China. Their skills of hand-painting, hand-rubbed lacquering and hand-tooling have been passed down for many generations. We are proud to support them in their quest to keep their age-old techniques alive for future generations. Many of the artists are hired out of semi-retirement to work from home training the next generation to become master craftsmen. These masters are highly respected in their craft and their culture which have survived through many Chinese dynasties and continue to produce valuable and desirable pieces for your home decor.

Beautiful vase great quality. I highly recommend this gorgeous vase.
Upon delivery, the vase was broken and Overstock took it back. I have paid for this item, and have not heard about re-embursing me or replacing the broken vase. An order like this one should be packaged very well in a box , inside the main box, with bubble wrap around it. I hope Overstock will inform me as to the status ;of my order.
Just received the rating request on 12/08/17. The vase is beautiful.
This was a nice vase for the money. It has a lovely blue but the background seems a little more tending toward gray than stark white. Still great for a centerpiece vase on the DR table.

It's large-12/14" tall and would be gorgeous on a fireplace. It's more medium blue with some dark and more of a gray-white. I have several blue and white interspersed within my cobalt and it looks great!
Just received the vase and am very pleased. The background color is a very pale grayish-off white and the blue pattern is nicely done. The background color gives is a softer, richer look than a stark white background, and it blends in better with the soft greens, blues and browns that are in the room in which I am placing the vase.
