Story Behind the Art:

• This kilim was made by female weavers in villages across Afghanistan, Pakistan and India. Rug weaving is not only a way for these women to earn an income, but also provides a source of wool sales for local farmers and a way for local artisans to create natural and vegetable dyes. We are proud to support these communities by providing jobs for female weavers and bringing their beautiful designs to homes around the world.
