Story Behind the Art:

• Rug weaving in the Caucasus region is limited to a few villages, but this beautiful design has been reproduced by the Bhadohi village weavers in the Varanasi province of India. Most of the weavers are women who live in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India. By supporting these artisans and their craft, we are able to create more job opportunities for them. Additionally, the local farmers benefit from wool sales and the local artisans create natural and vegetable dyes for the weavers to use in their designs.
