Story Behind the Art:Handcrafted by artisans in China, this lovely rug features a rayon from bamboo surface with hand-sewn tweed border and fabric backing. The rayon from bamboo is glued onto the jute padding which provides cushioning, therefore you will not need to use a pad with this rug. This rug was created with all natural rayon from bamboo grown in the mountainous regions of China. These hand-crafted rugs were created in the Shongdong province of China by master craftsmen in a workshop run by the Liu family.
The handcrafted touch of artisan skill creates variations in color, size and design. If buying two of the same item, slight differences should be expected. Note: Color discrepancies may occur between this product and your computer screen.
