Good screen that is useful in a number of different situations -- from blocking sun in our eyes that's coming in windows to providing a little extra privacy for guests in our small home. Not too heavy to move around but pretty sturdy.
My husband hates drapes and blinds,,and prefers to have nothing over windows, French doors and sliders. I prefer to have some privacy - and bought these screens in all sizes as the solution. They are perfect! The size variety covers all my needs, they easily move to arrange as needed, and allow both light and privacy if kept closed. They are a flexible solution that folds to attractive piece of free-standing art when closed. Unusual window covering solution that always receives positive comments and people want to copy.

This screen is nicer than I expected. The only downside is that the flat wood panels at the bottom of it are a fiberboard. I feel that this cheapens its look, so I will probably paint them. Other than that, the price was good and it is quite sturdy and well made. I am pleased with the purchase overall.
I love these screens, so much so that I now have three of them. They fit with any decor, and can be used as a decorative accessory, to create new spaces, to hide something unsightly (like our sliding glass door), or to block the sun. , ,, , ,,,,,,,,,,,,, They are light weight which allows you to easily vary their location and purpose. Just be careful not to pop your finger through the rice paper.
Perfect as a room divider for guest room. Put two sets end to end to go accross whole room and secured one end to wall for extra stability. They stay against the wall, as "out of of the way decoration" when not needed. Kind of conference room divider with class !

This screen provides me with privacy and adds to my living room. I recently bought my first home. The living room has a nice sliding door onto the patio, which lets lots of light into the room. My plants like this, but I didn't like the fact that my rear neighbor could look right into my house--especially at night. Vertical blinds seem to be the popular solution to privacy on sliding doors, but I don't like vertical blinds. I thought about curtains, but I could not find anything that I liked. Everything seemed to darken the room. Then, I thought about a privacy screen. My furnishings are in the Shaker and Craftsman family. I was skeptical that a Shoji screen would blend. However, this double-cross Shoji screen works well. The smooth surfaces and straight lines pick up details of the other furniture. The wood finish is a little lighter than my other furniture, but it sits away from the other pieces, so the difference in finish is not glaring. I can always darken it later with a little stain if I like. In the meantime, the screen gives me privacy, and it reflects light back into the room at night--actually brightening the room. In the morning as I leave for work, I collapse the screen and give my plants their much loved sunlight. Easy. Convenient. Attractive. No assembly is a plus. It arrived ready to go right out of the box. Thanks Overstock!

WOW! This is how I decribe this screen. It is tall enougn to hide my treadmill and wide enough to enhance my bedroom. I needed something that was beautiful and this more than exceeded my expectations. Everyone that sees it wants one and I just tell them that they can not go wrong ordering it from overstock. The rosewood is simply beautiful and I just love how it separates what I don't want to see. When I walk into my room now, I just say, " WOW!
