This is the worst piece of handmade junk I have ever ordered from Overstock.....This is the first negitive rewiew I have ever left.....This item is extremly ruffly made.....Looks like you know what......And I paid way to much for the item......Truly should be taken off the Woodstock Items For Sale.....The only reason I've kept it is I was in Vietnam and just going to kept it to remember my year there in the war in 1968.....And I'm to lazy to send it back.....When they go on Closeout for $25 it might be the time to pick one up.
I have a Tiki/Hawaii decor on my patio and garden and wanted a smaller umbrella to fit in. This thatched umbrella looks great and has held up well in our So Cal winds. I did have to switch from the 25 lb base to the 55 lb base so it wouldn't blow over. It is a heavy duty umbrella and when it was blown over several times (before I switched bases), there was no damage. Love the look.
I love the umbrella. It is well made and sturdy. I wanted a small umbrella for my bistro table and it is a perfect size. The big problem that I am having is that it wouldn't fit in the umbrella hole in my table. I had to shave the pole to get it in. Now I bought a stand and it wont fit in that. Are there really stands that fit that pole? I don't want to keep shaving the pole.
Seems fairly well made, reason I only gave it 4 stars is because 5 ft is a bit too small, wish it came in 6ft size. I can't comment on the durability, but I'm expecting it will probably last a year or two like my roof thatch.
We just received this Palapa and we set it up by our pool as a little shady spot if needed. We also added solar lights. It really adds to the ambience.
Beautiful Umbrella, but way to small. The price point is way to high.
More for a cafe table. Way too small for the price!
