    Story Behind the Art:
'I became an artist through my grandfather. It has become a part of me and I cannot live without it,' confides Ghana's Azariah Norteye. 'I have trained so many people, and they are now using the craft as their profession. I am happily married with three children. My favorite things in life are to read poetry and to go and work in my studio. What always inspires me is that I use clay to create anything that comes my way. I have exhibited my work in South Africa and also in Ibadan-Nigeria.'
