So, the actual workmanship, quality, color, fiber was exactly what I wanted. It was gorgeous and perfect, in every way EXCEPT it arrived damp and SO SMELLY (like mildew and rotton animal fiber)... that I returned it and requested a replacement. After 2 weeks, the 2nd one arrived, and believe it or not, it smelled WORSE than the first one. You could actually see the condensation under the plastic wrapping before opening it (which I did very carefully and only a small bit to assess smell - even from the small end opening, it was overwhelming and I needed to move the entire package out of the house asap). I'm very disappointed, as this rug was everything I was looking for for our new home. When I called Overstock to explain the situation, the customer service rep was excellent, understanding, apologetic (even though it clearly wasn't his fault) and helped me with a no hassle full refund. I do hope this alerts whatever step in the quality control plan to check these rugs out asap before they send more terribly smelly/damp products to customer's homes.

This rug is the perfect combination of "POW", due to the granny smith green color that I was wanting, and calm, because it relys on a carving technique for pattern instead of overwhelming me with lots of colors. I've painted my room this color and have white trim and bedspread. It's a happy room that looks expensive. Sure, it's a color risk, but if you want a happy, fun room that looks like it could be featured in a magazine, this rug may be for you. So soft too!
