I can't say enough about this rug. It is made of resilient wool. This rug is nice and thick. Tuffed style rugs are my favorite. This rug is so nice I purchased three. Hi Jeanie, This rug is more rust color and the blue is more of a dark silver gray. I have it is on a medium dark tile floor with rich dark wood baseboards and trim in room. Also white cabinets in room. It pops with dark flooring for sure. I tried it on honey oak flooring with oak trim and off white wall ( yellow toned paint), it blended-in and looked more orange due to the oak flooring and trim reflections. I feel it is a beautiful rug but depending on whether you want it to pop or blend depends on your flooring for most part. I don't have the shedding like others say but I do vacuum every other day due to our pups and allergies. This rug is soft and thick too. Make sure you ask for rug pad if get. They didn't send me one with my rug. Hope this helps you. TSR
