Artisans from the Akamb tribe of Kenya work side by side to create these imposing African creatures. A master carver first shapes each animal from a block of native Jacaranda wood, then another artisan brings up the woods fine finish hand paints each realistic animal. No two are exactly alike.
The handcrafted touch of artisan skill creates variations in color, size and design. If buying two of the same item, slight differences should be expected. Note: Color discrepancies may occur between this product and your computer screen.
